Homework is to be completed Monday through Thursday. Vocabulary and spelling lists are given out on Friday if you wish to get a jump start on the following week's studying. Poem memorization and book reports are work in addition to the daily homework.
It is important to provide a regular, quiet place for your child to complete homework assignments. When you encourage good homework routines early, it instills a habit of always getting homework done on time. Please check to make sure that homework is completed and that corrections have been made. Your signature on the green sheet indicates that this has been done.

Students who have incomplete or missing homework assignments will be sent to Opportunity Club to complete them. After the fourth day of incomplete/missing homework, a detention will be issued. An incomplete or unsigned green sheet counts as an incomplete assignment.
Classroom Reminder
Students should have at least two chapter books with them each day. One of those books should be their book report book. During silent reading, students are required to read chapter books.
